Hey everybody, my name is Yohan Tiria and I'm 25. At the very beggining I was not really convinced whether becoming a teacher or not. I really liked English at school I could say I was "good" at English at that time. Because of that, I decided to study foreign languages at Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia.

I applied and passed and I started my career.  At university I learnt English, French and German and I realized I really liked learning languages. Being exposed to another language is an open door for you to look into other cultures, ways of living, life perspectives among other features that help to build a bigger understanding of the world.

Now, I teach English as a foreign language in a public university and I studied my master's degree there as well. I really enjoy sharing knowledge along with my students, learning from them, and of course building a greater understanding of the world.
